Biography
- Kathy Stevens, MA, is one of the most respected and influential professionals in the fitness industry. With a bachelor's degree in physical education and a master's degree in kinesiology, she pioneered and developed the renowned Slide Reebok training program. As a member and coordinator of the Reebok University development team, Kathy has been featured in a wide variety of videos, television programs, and print materials. Among the videos in which she is featured is a series she produced targeting specialty populations, such as new moms and senior adults. Kathy has also had a significant impact on fitness certification and instructor training. As a leader in this area, she has spent many years on the board of training and education for the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, the largest certification agency for fitness trainers and instructors in the world.
