Biography
- Patrick Mediate, MA, CSCS*D, is a physical education and health teacher at Greenwich High School in Greenwich, CT. Patrick is extensively involved in the NSCA, including serving as the NSCA’s State/Provincial Director Committee Chair, as the current NSCA state director for Connecticut, and as a member of NSCA’s Board of Directors. Widely regarded as an expert in youth-fitness training, he has been honored numerous times for his professional accomplishments.
- Avery Faigenbaum, Ed.D., CSCS, FACSM, is an associate professor of exercise science and physical education at The College of New Jersey. He is nationally recognized as a leading authority in the area of youth strength training, and has written two books and over 100 articles on fitness and conditioning, he is certified by the NSCA, ACSM, and United States Weightlifting Association, and lectures across the country to fitness and sports medicine organizations.
